Hiss and Luka

These characters - a 20-meter male naga named Hiss and his elf companion Luka - are part of a comic book drawn by my friend, an artist nicknamed Filgo. An unsuccessful thief and an exotic monster are forced to join forces to escape from captivity, although it is not easy for them to cooperate - different characters, different cultures and habits. The comic is in the process of being released, and the artist is gradually drawing a sequel, which I am quite interested in watching. You can see it and other works of the talented artist here: (boosty.to/filgo)
Both models, although stylized, are quite detailed. The naga model has about 60 thousand triangles, a third of which are his gold jewelry, and a third is his hairstyle. The elf has about 50,000 triangles, and the proportions for the distribution of polygons are about the same. The models are created from scratch, with the exception of the eyes (thanks to Lucas Falcao for them, he created a convenient plugin for their generation). The models were created using the gamedev pipeline. Sculpting in Zbrush, retopology in Maya, baking in Marmoset, textures in Substance Painter and Photoshop, and for rendering I used Blender with the Cycles renderer.
